Paul C. Pershes is a Senior Advisor with more than 40 years experience. Working closely with law firms, corporate general counsel, board of directors and other accounting firms, Mr. Pershes represents numerous publicly-held entities, privately-held businesses and not-for-profit organizations spanning a variety of industries.

Mr. Pershes is a demonstrated leader who is often engaged by clients for his consulting and business expertise and ability to resolve disputes. He assists financial institutions and major debtors with matters involving financial investigations, debt restructuring, fraud, damage calculations and accounting malpractice. Most notably, Mr. Pershes successfully represented one of the largest international telecommunications companies during a contract dispute and an international fraud litigation matter. Mr. Pershes also appraises business interests for business litigation, gift and estate tax purposes, and mergers and acquisitions. In addition, he has testified as an expert witness.

A recognized industry expert, Mr. Pershes frequently speaks on various litigation and valuation issues. Currently, he is an adjunct professor at Baruch College teaching forensic accounting and business valuation.

Mr. Pershes' in-depth background includes public and private experience in accounting, auditing and management. Prior to joining the Firm in 2003, he was a Managing Director for a boutique investment banking company. Earlier in his career, Mr. Pershes held several C-level positions including President for a publicly-traded healthcare technology company and a large facilities maintenance and security company. He has served on the Board of Directors and audit committees for public and private companies. His accounting background encompasses a Regional Managing Partner position at a Top 10 international accounting firm.
