Mitchell Watt CPA*

Mitchell Watt is a Senior Partner in Marcum's SEC Practice Group. Based in the Firm's New York City office, he has more than 25 years of professional experience in accounting, tax, and business consulting, working with privately held and publicly traded businesses, public agencies, and not-for-profit organizations. Mr. Watt has extensive experience working with clients in a wide range of industries with a focus on broker-dealers and other service related companies.

As a business consultant, Mr. Watt utilizes his experience assisting clients to more effectively run their business. His experience includes managing assurance engagements, providing companies a variety of technical accounting and consulting services related to mergers and acquisitions, strategic business management, systems and operations, corporate finance, litigation support and other workout situations. Prior to joining Marcum, Mr. Watt was a Senior Manager at a “Big Four” firm and has held the position of financial controller for a publicly-traded company with importing, distribution, and retail operations.
