Marcum Ranked 14th Largest Accounting Firm in the United States
Another significant jump in ranking as a result of nationwide growth
New York, New York - March 14, 2011 - Marcum LLP was named the nation's 14th largest accounting firm in Accounting Today's 2011 Top 100 Firms survey. In the same publication, Marcum was ranked as the 2nd fastest-growing firm among those with more than $100 million in revenue and the 2nd largest firm in the Mid-Atlantic region.
Marcum experienced significant growth in 2010. In addition to acquiring the New England practice of UHY Advisors, the firm merged with California-based Stonefield Josephson, Inc. In January of 2011, Marcum also merged its China practice with that of Bernstein & Pinchuk LLP to form Marcum Bernstein & Pinchuk LLP, adding on-the-ground resources in four offices in China and Hong Kong.
