Accelerated Career Track Program (ACT)
MarcumRachlin offers the ACT Program
to CPA track students. Participants will gain valuable work experience
early on in their educational and employment decision making process
for their chosen career.
Most internship programs are for a finite period of time and at
the conclusion of the internship, an offer may or may not be extended.
By contrast, the ACT Program will be considered
concluded when the participant completes their educational objectives.
Once the program is complete, the participant becomes a member
of the professional staff. The intent is that participants move
through the program to the professional staff ranks.
In order to ensure a meaningful experience, the ACT Program
will run in the spring and fall only; we will not run this program
in the summer. It is our expectation that participants will focus
on completing their educational objectives during the summer months.
The ACT Program participants are employed by
MarcumRachlin as part time employees and therefore benefits are not
extended. ACT Program participants will work
between 30 - 40 hours per week.
The number of hours per week may vary given the needs of the practice.
We will work with participants to accommodate their school schedule.

A job offer contingent upon successful completion of the ACT

A foundation for a "fast track" to senior after being transferred
to the professional staff group
- Students
with a nearing their four year business or accounting degree
or who are pursuing an advanced degree or their fifth year

Students with a four year degree (non-accounting) who want
to pursue a career as a CPA and who are taking the required
courses to do so (consideration will be given to the number
of accounting courses taken to date)
